Harpymil formed in
1991 with its initial operations starting in Finland.
Harpymil has since expanded its operations to the UK, Russia, and West Africa.
At
Harpymil, we believe that by focusing on healthy working postures in the workplace
from an early stage, so we can prevent more work related illnesses from occurring
at later stages. All the furniture
we design and produce focus on the
preservation of health of the end-user, throughout their working lifecycle.
Harpymil succeeded in developing ergonomic alternatives for modern and traditional office furniture by incorporating basic ergonomic principles in design concepts in conjunction with the experience gained while working with a research team on Ergonomic Responses (Dept. of Physiology, University of Kuopio – Finland), and subsequent results collected from various market research and trials.
We
aim to reduce the levels of "Musculo Skeletal Diseases"
caused by bad posture in the workplace
Harpymil has gained over 14 years of experience in ergonomic furniture design
and production, and have applied it in creating solutions that are not only
heath conscious but affordable.
